Við systurnar höfum verið að safna nokkrum centum fyrir Sólskinssjóð Betels frá sólskinsbörnum hér í Wynyard og sendum við þér hér alls $3.50 og nöfn gefenda. Vonum við af öllu hjarta að þessi sjóður okkar Sólskinsbarna geti orðið sem stærstur og til sem mest gagns fyrir gömlu börnin sem komin eru á Betel til að njóta værðar og hvíldar seinustu daga lífsins.

Dear editor of Sólskin.
We sisters have been collecting some cents for the Sólskin-fund for Betel from the Sunshine children here in Wynyard, and we are sending you $3.50 in total here and the names of the donors. We hope with all our hearts that our Sunshine children fund is able to become as big and as prosperous as possible for the elderly children who have come to Betel to enjoy the calm and rest during the last days of life.
