After more than 35 years, Campus Manitoba will be closing its doors on June 26, 2026.
As part of this transition, the future of the Open Education Manitoba PressbooksEDU Network is under review, and it may be discontinued after July 12, 2026, or transitioned to another steward.
Open Education Manitoba has supported educators, students, and institutions across the province by promoting the use and creation of open educational resources (OER), including open textbooks. Through this work, OpenEd MB helped reduce student costs, expand access to high-quality learning materials, and foster collaboration across Manitoba’s post-secondary sector.
While this service is ending, a number of trusted open education resources remain available:

- Open Textbook Library
- Pressbooks Directory
These platforms offer a wide range of free, openly licensed textbooks and learning materials for students and educators.
