Athabasca, Alta., November 29, 1917.

Dear editor of Sólskin.

It’s certainly fun to read the Sólskin paper, but we are all so small that my mom has to read it to us – the stories, the poems and the letters, which is so fun. We have recently moved here to this lake and live a short way from our grandfather and grandmother and we often visit our relative Stanley to play, but now he is setting off to Athabasca, to go to school this winter. It’s a lovely task to collect for the elderly people. We four siblings are sending a few cents to the Sólskin-fund. We wish all the blessed elderly children a merry Christmas and all happiness and blessings for the future. So, in closing, we all say goodbye in unity to the good and noble editor of Sólskin and wish him all the best for the future and bright sunny days.

We are yours sincerely.
