This chapter contains a combination of modified topics from OpenStax Calculus Volume 1 that are needed in the University of Manitoba Math 1700 Calculus 2 course and are not covered in OpenStax Calculus Volume 2.

The topics covered here are the following.

Section 0.1 – Inverse Trigonometric Functions (modified from section 1.4 in Calculus Volume 1)

Section 0.2 – Derivatives of Inverse Trigonometric Functions (modified from section 3.7 in Calculus Volume 1)

Section 0.3 – L’Hôpital’s Rule (modified from section 4.8 in Calculus Volume 1)
