Learning objectives

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  1. Recognize why faculty and staff should care about social identities in relation to teaching and learning.
  2. Identify your own social identities, and how these identities impact teaching and learning.
  3. Explore intersectionality and social location and analyze how they impact you and your students.
  4. Identify teaching and learning strategies and activities that promote engagement and participation by learners with diverse social identities.
