Child Friendly Justice Framework
Peguis Child & Family Services, with the guidance of a strong Board of Directors and In-House Counsel Mr. Earl Stevenson, has authored new child welfare legislation: the Honouring Our Children, Families and Nation Act. They have set us on a trajectory that has been trail blazing for Indigenous and non-Indigenous child welfare policy makers alike.
Earl Stevenson presented at the 2024 Global Roundtable for Equal Access for Justice gathering organized by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development. Please see the reference report attached, as well as contextual information on the OECD Child Friendly Justice Framework.
