19 On Accommodations

In this video, I share why and how I approach accommodations in my teaching and learning design.

As you can see, I have recorded the video in my home, not in a studio. Our students will also film their video assignments outside of high-quality studio conditions. Creating equitable video means being able to accept variances in quality that is dependent on available technology. To alleviate sound disruptions, closed captions and the transcript are provided, which can also be used to address other learning needs and preferences.
